Declamation

In the NCFL any student who is a sophomore or a freshman may participate in this category.  Any speech may be used as long as it was delivered in "real life".  For example, a Clarence Darrow jury summation is acceptable; however, Atticus Finch's jury summation from the novel To Kill a Mockingbird is not.  The material need not be commercially published; all Internet sources are permissible.

To find out more about Declamation, please look at the ballots and critique sheets of the National Catholic Forensics League.
